Create a Secondary Contact

Create a secondary contact, select the secondary contact's role, and set communication preferences.

In Tank Track, a secondary contact is a contact associated with a primary contact that assumes supportive functions, roles, or responsibilities.

Examples of secondary contacts include spouses, property managers, site contacts, realtors, and the like.

To add a secondary contact:

STEP 1: Use the SEARCH BAR to find the contact. You may search by contact name, address, phone number, or email address.

STEP 2: Click the + SECONDARY CONTACT BUTTON, which opens an Add Secondary Contact Window.

STEP 3: Enter the secondary contact's information.

First Name

Enter the first name.

Last Name

Enter the last name.

Relationship/Position/Title

Select the relationship, position, or title.

Address 1

Enter the first address line.

Address 2

Enter the second address line, if required.

City

Enter the city.

State

Enter the state.

Zip

Enter the zip code.

Email Address

Enter the email address.

Cell Phone

Enter the cell phone number. A cell phone number is required if your contact desires to receive texts. Click the TURN ON TEXTING BUTTON to enable text communication.

Home Phone

Enter the home phone number.

Work Phone

Enter the work phone number.

STEP 4: Enter the secondary contact's communication preferences.

Auto-Receive All Messages

Select to send all communications to the secondary contact.

Receipts

Select to send receipts to the secondary contact.

Service Due Notices

Select to send service due notices to the secondary contact.

Appointment Confirmations

Select to send appointment confirmations to the secondary contact.

Online Payment Receipts

Select to send online payment receipts to the secondary contact.

Include "Pay Now" Button

Select to allow the secondary contact to submit online payments.

Invoices

Select to send invoices to the secondary contact.

Estimates

Select to send estimates to the secondary contact.

Monthly Statements

Select to send monthly statements to the secondary contact.

Unpaid Invoices

Select to send unpaid invoices to the secondary contact.

STEP 4: Click the SAVE BUTTON.
