Select Columns of Information to Display
When viewing data in Tank Track — such as contacts, invoices, or payments — you may select which columns of information to display. This lets you display only the specific data you need listed.
STEP 1: Click the COLUMN SELECTOR TOOL to open the column selector/preset center window.
STEP 2: Select the columns to display.
STEP 3: Deselect the columns to not display.
STEP 4: Click the COLUMN SELECTOR TOOL to close the column selector/preset center window.
TIP: Column selectors are "sticky," which means that each user can configure his or her own column selectors without affecting another user's column selector configurations.
Use, Create, and Edit Preset Filters
You may also use, create, and edit preset filters, which let you to save specific combinations of filters and column selectors for easy reuse. This eliminates the need to manually set the same filter and column selector combinations over and over.
Use Preset Filters
To use an existing preset filter:
STEP 1: Click the COLUMN SELECTOR TOOL to open the column selector/preset center window.
STEP 2: Select the preset filter to use. Available preset filters appear in the left column of the column selector/preset center window.
STEP 3: Click the COLUMN SELECTOR TOOL to close the column selector/preset center window.
Your filtered data is now displayed.
Create Preset Filters
To create a new preset filter:
STEP 1: Click the COLUMN SELECTOR TOOL to open the column selector/preset center window.
STEP 2: Click the +ADD PRESET BUTTON to begin creating the new preset filter.
STEP 3: Enter the title of the new preset filter.
STEP 4: Configure the columns to display.
STEP 5: Click CLEAR ALL in the filter area on the left side. During this step, the column selector/preset center window may close. You'll reopen it after a few more steps.
STEP 6: Configure the filters, including DATE RANGE, as needed.
STEP 7: Click the COLUMN SELECTOR TOOL to reopen the column selector/preset center/window, if necessary.
STEP 8: Confirm that the column selectors and filters are configured as desired.
STEP 9: Click the SAVE AS BUTTON to save the new preset filter.
STEP 10: Click the COLUMN SELECTOR TOOL to close the column selector/preset center window.
Edit Preset Filters
To edit an existing preset filter:
STEP 1: Click the COLUMN SELECTOR TOOL to open the column selector/preset center window.
STEP 2: Select the existing preset filter to edit.
STEP 3: Click the blue EDIT BUTTON.
STEP 4: Edit the columns to display, as needed.
STEP 6: Edit the filters, including DATE RANGE, as needed. During this step, the column selector/preset center window may close. You'll reopen it during the next step.
STEP 7: Click the COLUMN SELECTOR TOOL to reopen the column selector/preset center/window, if necessary.
STEP 8: Confirm that the column selectors and filters are edited as desired.
STEP 9: Click the SAVE BUTTON to save the edited preset filter.
STEP 10: Click the COLUMN SELECTOR TOOL to close the column selector/preset center window.
